Family Club

We are so delighted to have been awarded funding through the Scottish Government to deliver a year long programme of events, activities and workshops for the New Scot, refugee and asylum seeker community in Dundee.

Family Club involves both New Scot and Scottish families, with a focus on outdoor learning, changing green spaces, visits to local heritage sites, sport activities and using creative recycling to support health, wellbeing and integration.

During our recent Family Club activity day we welcomed members of the New Scot community to let us know what activities and sessions they would like, and to take part in games, an art workshop and a leaf detective activity with a member of the Countryside Rangers team.

We are so excited to develop this project with the New Scot community, and will be announcing our full programme of events and activities soon.

This project is part funded by the European Union Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Scottish Government.
